DEEP GREEN AT THE SIXTEENTH INTERNATIONAL BOTANICAL CONGRESS
XVI International Botanical Congress.
The results of the
Green Plant Phylogeny Research Coordination Group were presented at a series of
eight interlocking symposia at the XVI International Botanical Congress held in St. Louis, Missouri, 1-7 August, 1999.
GPPRCG student travel awards were presented to 22 students.
There was a considerable amount of press interest about "Deep Green" following the Botanical Congress.
