Poison Canyon, San Bernardino County, California.
Small canyon connecting Indian Wells Valley and Salt Wells Valley to Searles Valley.

Annie Alexander and Louise Kellogg collected in Poison Canyon on April 13, 1940; in Salt Canyon on April 14, 1940, and in Salt Wells Canyon on April 17, 1940. Their collection #1053, which was collected in Salt Canyon per their notebook, has the following location on the printed label,"Poison (Salt Wells) Canyon, southwest of Trona, San Bernardino County." Therefore, I believe that the three names refer to the same canyon.
