California city, crossroads for early emigrant trails, railroads and highways in the California Desert, on the Mojave River, on interstate 15 and the origin of Interstate 40.
There are six locations named Bear Creek in Trinity County.
One of them is just west of Toad Lake, where Annie and Louise also collected on August 12, 1911. This particular Bear Creek is also 17 km west of the town of Mount Shasta.
