Fishery near Babolsar


The Caspian Sea is the world's largest lake. The Caspian's surface is about 30 meters below sea level, but the water level has been rising at the rate of 15 to 20 Cm per year for few years. Rock is used to prevent encroachment of the Caspian Sea on land area. This area now under water was formerly a summer house.
